Victory Story: The Abortion Pill Returned - Bold Conviction for Jane

Kenneth Calvin Jr.

Jane walked out of Planned Parenthood with the abortion pill already in hand. But after seeing the truth of what those pills do, and realizing it was her own child's birthday, she turned around, walked back inside, and handed the pill back to the staff. Read how one courageous decision on the sidewalk became a bold stand for life.

The Encounter

Jane came out of the clinic having already obtained the abortion pill. Our team engaged her in conversation on the sidewalk and showed her victim imagery depicting the reality of what the pills actually do to an unborn child.

On top of seeing the imagery, the weight of the day itself hit her deeply—it was her own child's birthday. The realization and conviction of potentially taking the life of her next baby on the very same day another of her children was born cut straight to her heart.

The Bold Step

Moved by deep conviction, Jane took the victim imagery, walked right back inside Planned Parenthood, and handed the abortion pill back to the staff! While inside, she even made the clinic staff look at the victim imagery itself—needless to say they weren't receptive, but she held the line and made them confront the reality of their work.

Walking in Truth

Jane came back out, having completely rejected the abortion and choosing life. The team covered her in prayer and redirected her to real support and resources.

Prayer Request

Please pray for Jane—that God strengthens her in this bold stand for life, surrounds her with community and practical support throughout her pregnancy, and draws her heart even deeper into His truth and grace.

Take no part in the unfruitful works of darkness, but instead expose them.

— Ephesians 5:11
